St Germans Priory are seeking to contract with an individual or organisation who can provide the services of developing the partnership, programme, audiences and marketing to help us grow the SECA partnership of local venues, promoters and community arts bodies. Budget £19,250 pt contract for 1 year

Job Description

This is a project consultancy role the purpose of which is to help us develop our place-based arts partnership. South East Cornwall Arts was established as a local arts development and marketing umbrella by three local venues in 2025 and is now expanding to include additional venues and community arts partnerships, ranging from small volunteer-led venues to large established providers with professional staff and offering a varied programme across this large rural area. Reporting to a project Steering Group the Programme and Partnership Manager will help us further develop the organisation, lead on practical marketing and audience development activities to raise the profile of South East Cornwall Arts across the area and increase ticket sales, and support partners as they plan and deliver an extensive and varied programme of arts events, market

Job Requirements

Demonstrable experience of supporting marketing and audience development in the arts and/or cultural sectors, preferably including live performing arts experience Experience of building a strong social media and digital presence Experience of growing new audiences, with a good insight into the nature of the range of communities and people in a rural area Practical knowledge of website, ticketing and CRM systems with the ability to develop and operate these effectively A commitment to equalities, diversity and inclusion Excellent organisational skills and reliability, with a grasp of managing to a tight budget and reporting to funders Strong teamwork and communications skills to build positive relationships with Trustees and project partners Ability to work without close supervision but keeping partners engaged and informed and seeking direction where required Respect for the vision and ethos of the project partners and a passion for what we are trying to achieve
