Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Sound no.1 to be responsible for the daily delivery of the sound design for the new The Nutcracker Noir immersive experience this Christmas. This is a fixed term 5 week contract from Tuesday 11 November to Sunday 21 December. Hourly rate of £16.66. £200 per day.

We’re seeking an experienced Sound no 1 to be responsible for the daily delivery of the sound design for the new The Nutcracker Noir immersive experience this Christmas.
Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Overall responsibility for the day to day running of the sound team of 2.
- To operate the sound mix for performance as instructed.
- Attend all rehearsals, performance and promotional calls as required.
- Deal with emergency repairs.
- Contribute and adhere to risk assessment.
- Handle all maintenance work which needs to be carried on and to bring to the attention of the production team any work required to ensure the smooth running of the experience.
- Ensure that security, safety and good housekeeping procedures for the department are properly carried out
Job Requirements
Experience:
-
- Experience of Qlab
- Experience of Digico SD and/or Allen Heath SQ5.
- Experience of handling multiple mics and music inputs.
- Experience of working in live performance /theatre – preferably immersive theatres.
- Quick thinking and calm under pressure, especially during technical difficulties or emergencies.
- Strong decision-making skills in high-stress environments.
