Job Description (Sound and AV Technician)

Dates: 27th January to 22nd March 2025

Salary: Weekly salary for the weeks of contract.

Working Hours: Up to 48 hours per week – usually below this, schedule dependent and available at uncannylive.com

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Lead on the Sound and AV Fit Up/Get Out, supported by the venue crew
2. Assist on all other areas of the Fit Up / Get Out
3. Sound check with the cast for all shows, ensuring sound levels are correctly set for each performance
4. Operate the sound during the show.
5. Ensure show-related issues are fed back to the Production Manager and Stage Manager
6. Ensure Sound and AV equipment is maintained well
7. Together with other crew members, assume shared responsibility for the tour vehicle, transporting the show team, including all driving, parking and safety checks.
8. Adhere to budgets for refuelling, parking, tolls and tracking receipts for these.
9. Take responsibility for driver-related practices (speed, location, timeliness) while in charge of that vehicle.
10. Adhere to Stage Management team budgets
11. Adhere to established Finance/HR reporting procedures for any necessary expenditure
12. Complete weekly timesheets
13. Contribute to risk assessments as required
14. Follow Tilted Sessions Ltd.’s policies, procedures and risk assessments at all times
15. Bring any Health & Safety concerns to the attention of the Production Manager or Producer as soon as possible
16. Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Production Manager and Stage Manager, to whom this role reports.
