Future Yard CIC

Job Summary

The Skills + Learning Manager is a key management role within Future Yard, holding operational responsibility for the delivery, administration and of our music education programmes. Key tasks include ensuring that our programmes are well run, financially sustainable, inclusive and impactful.

Job Description

Are you super organised, passionate about music and love working with people? We are on the lookout for a Skills + Learning Programmes Manager to oversee the operational management and administration of our exciting music education programmes, including the high-energy world of Mosh Tots, the youth-powered creativity of New Noise and our brand new, dynamic schools programme.

From coordinating band clubs and instrumental lessons to organising New Noise sessions, planning and supporting Mosh Tots shows and liaising with schools, you will be able to handle public facing comms as well as keeping everything ticking behind the scenes. Essentially, you’ll be right at the heart of making the magic happen.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day management of our Skills + Learning offer – coordinating schedules, supporting freelance practitioners, liaising with schools and families, managing systems and ensuring every session, showcase and trip is delivered to a high standard. You’ll balance logistics with creativity, systems with people and spreadsheets with stage time.

If you’re someone who loves spreadsheets and sound checks, can balance logistics with people skills and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, we want to hear from you.
