Calling All Singing Teachers
Stage & Screen Academy-a vibrant performing arts school based at Salford City Academy- is seeking a musical theatre singing teacher who is passionate about putting on shows.

Are you passionate about musical theatre?
Then this is for you!
Requirements for all teachers:
Very reliable and punctual – able to commit to teaching for the period of each show rehearsals (term time only)
Holds a valid enhanced DBS check
Experience working with young performers aged 7-18 as a teacher
Able to keep a class under control
Able to keep children safe – Good knowledge of safeguarding
Proficiency in teaching vocal lines and acting
Enthusiastic, proactive, and inspiring
Desired skills:
Previous experience working with other creatives putting on musicals
Based in Manchester
Confident piano/keyboard skills for JR musicals – we have backing tracks but we use the piano to note bash the tune and teach fairly simple harmonies
Confident singer
Rehearsal Details
When: Saturdays (term time)
Time: 9:30 to 12:30
Where: Salford City Academy, Northfleet Road, Eccles, Manchester M30 7PQ
Upcoming Productions
Legally Blonde JR – Scheduled for 18th and 19th July 2026
Pay is £20/h provided the teaching experience is met.
