Blackheath Conservatoire is looking for an experienced teacher for a mix of singing and piano on Sundays starting on Sunday 1st March.
The timetable currently runs from 9.30-4pm with a break of an hour at 12.30. It is a mixture of children and adults, beginners to grade 4, some of whom are preparing for Rock School and Trinity exams and the rest are either not taking exams or not ready to do so.
The pay is £30p/h on a freelance basis and the Conservatoire teaches in line with local state school terms as follows:
Spring 26 Term: 5th January – 29th March
Summer 26 Term: 13th April – 20th July
We anticipate holding interviews from the week beginning 26th January
(Blackheath Conservatoire is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share and demonstrate this commitment. We require all staff and freelance tutors to hold an Enhanced DBS and undertake Safeguarding Level One training – we can process a DBS for those who do not already hold one.)
