Set Design Workshop Leader

We Teach Drama

Job Summary

Deliver engaging, practical set design masterclasses for young people aged 6–19. Flexible, predominantly weekend-based work ideal for educators and creatives seeking rewarding, hands-on teaching opportunities.

Job Description

We are looking for dynamic and reliable workshop leaders to deliver our Set Design Masterclasses across schools and performing arts settings. These workshops introduce students aged 6-19 to the principles of set design through practical, engaging, and creative sessions.

You will lead structured, hands-on workshops that inspire creativity, build confidence, and develop students’ understanding of theatre design. Sessions are inclusive, high-energy, and adaptable to a wide range of ages and abilities.
This role offers flexible, predominantly weekend-based work, with most sessions taking place on Saturdays and occasional opportunities on Thursday and Friday evenings. It is well suited to freelancers, educators, and creative practitioners looking to complement existing work.

Workshops take place across South London and surrounding areas, so travel is required. You will be confident working independently while maintaining high standards of delivery and safeguarding.
Full training and resources are provided to support consistent, high-quality delivery. We are particularly interested in individuals with a strong background in teaching or workshop facilitation, and a passion for theatre, design, or visual storytelling.

3 hours per week on Friday evenings/ Saturdays.
£30 per hour.

Applications close at midnight on 24th April.

A DBS certificate is required for this role; support can be provided to obtain one if needed.
