Job Summary

We are looking for a Schools Liaison Officer to manage and support school usage of The Shakespeare Curriculum; the RSC’s new innovative learning platform, launching Autumn 2025 aimed at transforming the way Shakespeare is learnt and taught in secondary education.

Job Description

Do you have experience with learning and/or content management platforms? Are you a strong communicator, with the ability to build excellent client facing and internal working relationships? Have you got excellent organisational skills coupled with the ability to deliver to deadlines?

We are looking for a Schools Liaison Officer to manage and support school usage of The Shakespeare Curriculum; the RSC’s new innovative learning platform, launching Autumn 2025 aimed at transforming the way Shakespeare is learnt and taught in secondary education.

By 2030 we will have 10 of Shakespeare’s most studied plays available on the platform which will enable teachers to use RSC content to build their own bespoke lessons for different year groups.

This is a part-time (21 hours), 5 year fixed-term position based in Stratford-upon-Avon. We are committed to a culture of flexible working. The role will provide the opportunity for some flexibility in hours and location of work. We expect the post holder to be in our Stratford office for 50% of the time.

This role is set within the Creative Learning and Engagement team and will work in close collaboration with colleagues across the RSC.

Job Requirements

To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with and influence a variety of stakeholders.
  • Practical working experience of learning platforms (LMS) and / or content (CMS) web-based platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
