FairArt
Job Summary
Job Description
London Area, United Kingdom Hybrid Full-time
Reports to: Senior Sales & Partnerships Lead
We’re hiring a driven Sales Development Representative to activate FairArt’s existing base of 35,000+ collector sign-ups. You’ll spend a significant part of your day on the phone – plus email and WhatsApp – working through a structured cadence to convert sign-ups into first-time buyers and turn first-time buyers into repeat purchasers.
This is a high-volume, metrics-driven role, ideal for someone early in their sales career who wants to prove themselves and has ambitions to grow into a bigger commercial role.
Why join us? Direct mentorship from the CEO and FairArt’s Sales & Partnerships Lead, a clear path to a more senior advisory sales role, a flexible hybrid role based at Somerset House, London, and real ownership over your own pipeline from day one.
Job Requirements
About You:
Commercially ambitious, competitive and motivated by measurable results
1+ years of experience in a gallery, auction house, art fair, or other art-world sales role
Strong understanding of contemporary art and the collector market, enough to speak credibly and build trust in conversations
Comfortable negotiating price and terms directly with collectors, not just running a fixed script
Excellent phone manner and communication skills to build trust quickly
Organised, with strong follow-through and comfort using CRM systems
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment
Highly Desirable:
Existing experience in outbound/inside sales, telesales, or account management
