Job Summary

Stan’s Cafe is looking for an actor for our show River Tours: The Avon, who will lead audiences down a textile map of the river.

Job Description

This is a 50 minute one person show, recounting stories and legends of the river, which will be touring along the River Avon this August. See previous versions of our River Tours on our website: stans.cafe.

We are looking for people who:

Are a strong solo performer
Have heritage links to the River Avon
Live within 25 miles of either Birmingham or Stratford

Fee: £709 per week for 4 weeks of work, plus 2 preparation days at £156 per day (fees are inclusive of holiday pay)

Rehearsals: 20th – 31st July

The tour will take place in August – dates TBC. Applicants must be available between the 1st – 21st August 2026.
