Job Summary
Job Description
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for repairing, restoring and maintaining costumes and props. You will work closely with the other members of the Refurb team to assess, clean and repair costumes and props sent to Rainbow from across the UK and internationally, helping to give them a new lease of life.
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone with a fabrication background, such as costume, modelmaking, props or theatre.
The successful candidate will have:
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to learn
Good problem-solving skills, as refurbishment projects often require creative and practical solutions
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
An interest in repairing, restoring and maintaining costumes and props
Previous costume-making experience is welcome but not essential. We are looking for someone who is available to start from the beginning of November.
