Job Summary

The Landmark Arts Centre is seeking an experienced and inspiring Musical Director to lead the Mansong, our exciting and supportive community choir.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an energetic, experienced and talented Choir Director to take on the leadership of ManSong, our men’s community choir. The Choir Director will connect members across song and creative spirit, weekly, every Monday evening 7-9pm. The Choir Director will also lead our choir through seasonal performances.

Job Requirements

Proven experience conducting a community choir, with a strong understanding of vocal techniques and ensemble dynamics.

Strong vocal and keyboard skills, with great experience running rehearsals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse groups of people.

Ability to read music proficiently and arrange choral pieces as needed.

Commitment to the understanding that anyone can sing and improve their skills.

Passion for community music-making and life long learning whilst fostering an inclusive environment.

Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice is desirable
