Job Description
We are seeking an RAD Awards Programme Officer to support Academic Programme Managers in the management and delivery of several programmes of study and awards of the Royal Academy of Dance. You will support onsite and distance learning students, liaising closely with Registry, as well as academic full-time, part-time and sessional staff to deliver an efficient, timely and professional service. This role is a part time role, working across 4 days for 28 hours each week.
Joining us, you will have:
- experience of delivering administrative processes and procedures as well as servicing meetings, ideally in a higher education context;
- knowledge of digital resources to support learning and teaching – experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (e.g. Moodle) is desirable;
- strong analytical and IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and Web Content Management;
- first class customer service delivery;
- sound interpersonal and communication skills, and confidence in dealing with enquires from the general public, colleagues and students;
- excellent time management and organisation skills.
Experience of working in a higher / further education context would be desirable.

Job Requirements
Due to the nature of the RAD’s work, the successful candidate will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Applications which do not include a full employment history and reference details will not be taken forward to the shortlisting stage.
