Job Description
The Marlowe Trust is looking for a talented and organised Publications Manager to lead the creation and delivery of high-quality publications that champion our artistic programme, engage audiences and support organisational goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer and editor with excellent project management abilities to shape the voice and presentation of one of the UK’s leading theatres.
As Publications Manager, you will write, edit and coordinate a wide range of publications and communications materials, including seasonal brochures, show programmes, annual reports, award submissions and other marketing outputs.
Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Communications, Artistic Planning, Development and Design, you will ensure all publications are accurate, engaging, on-brand and delivered to deadline.
You will manage the full publication process from initial planning through to final sign-off, including sourcing imagery, coordinating feedback from stakeholders and overseeing version control and scheduling

Job Requirements
A great communicator, particularly in written form
Organised with an eye for detail
A creative thinker and problem solver
Basic knowledge of the theatre industry
Good creative and editorial copywriting skills
Basic IT skills including use of Microsoft Word, Excel and
PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good project management and stakeholder management
skills
Good experience of writing copy for a professional
organisation
Good project management experience
