Job Description
Propworks is a creative and forward-thinking team based in south east London. Together, we design, make and source props; primarily for theatre and live events.
The Projects Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the smooth delivery of our project builds and makes; from handling initial client enquiries and liaising with suppliers to assisting with on-site logistics and documentation.
Working closely with the Project Managers, you will have an eye for detail and help to maintain our high standards of efficiency, professionalism, and industry practice.
Propworks is a fast-paced work environment, with the team working across multiple productions and projects at any one time. The role requires a proactive individual with good time-management and organisational skills, along with good communication and the ability to work under pressure.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Experience in production for live events, theatre, or similar;
- Experience in handling logistics, scheduling, or deliveries;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritise across multiple projects;
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to remain calm under pressure;
- A positive, solution-focused mindset with resilience in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, expenditure records, and logistics planning;
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism;
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently and on your own initiative;
- Willingness to travel to project sites, when required;
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours as projects demand;
- Enthusiastic about creative production and keen to develop in the role.
