Rinova Ltd are currently seeking a Project Manager to deliver an initiative that supports young people and adults looking to forge a career in the creative industries.

Job Description

The Project Manager, Culture & Creative is responsible for the delivery of a funded skills and employability initiative supporting young people and adults to access careers in the creative industries within the London Borough of Southwark. The role involves managing day-to-day project delivery, coordinating a network of training providers, employers and stakeholders across creative sectors including film, music, theatre, gaming, fashion and crafts. The postholder will design and implement outreach and recruitment strategies, develop and deliver programme activity in response to identified skills gaps, and support participants to progress into training, education or employment. Working closely with internal teams, funders and partners, the role ensures high-quality delivery, compliance, monitoring and evaluation, while embedding equality, inclusion and partnership-led practice throughout the project lifecycle.

Fixed-term role for an initial 12-month period, starting at 3 days per week (09:30am-17:30pm), with the potential to increase to 4 days per week following the initial 12 months.

Job Requirements

  • Experience managing skills, employability or training projects, ideally in creative, cultural or education sectors
  • Experience working within publicly funded programmes, with understanding of compliance, monitoring and reporting
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with ability to manage targets, deadlines and KPIs
  • Experience of participant engagement and support, including IAG or employability coaching
  • Knowledge of creative industry career pathways and skills needs
  • Experience of partnership working with employers, training providers or community organisations
  • Ability to analyse data and use insight to inform delivery and improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to equality, inclusion and participant-centred practice
