Job Summary

The Hall is looking to recruit a production technician to supplement the Technical department. The main skill we are looking for is the ability to operate LX on live events to a high-quality level using the in-house lighting system.

Job Description

Cadogan Hall is a busy venue in Chelsea hosting a wide variety of live events ranging from classical
concerts to contemporary music, jazz, conferences, dance and spoken word performances. We are a dedicated team of five in the Technical department who supply excellent service to the Hall’s hirers.

The Hall is looking to recruit a production technician to supplement the Technical department. The main skill we are looking for is the ability to operate LX on live events to a high-quality level
using the in-house lighting system. Knowledge of Avolites Titan software is essential. ArtNet networking would be helpful.

Additional requirements:
general stage management
manual handling tasks including setting out and striking of sound equipment and staging
computer literacy: the technician would be using the Microsoft Office Suite and Artifax event
diary system (training will be given)
The ideal candidate would be calm, polite, enthusiastic and proactive. Knowledge of orchestral
layout would be an advantage.
Working hours are a 40-hour week on a flexible 7-day rota, with no overnight working. You would
receive a non-contributory pension and private medical insurance after a qualifying period.
