Job Description
This role, Pottery Studio Technician, is central to ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the studio. You will work closely with the Studio Lead to maintain high technical standards and support day-to-day operations onsite at Maxability.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong ceramics technical knowledge who is passionate about inclusive arts practice and community engagement.
Job Requirements
Essential:
– Proven experience working in a ceramics or pottery studio environment
– Strong technical knowledge of kiln operation, glaze preparation, and clay processes
– Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
– Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient studio
Desirable:
– Experience working in inclusive or community arts settings
– Understanding of accessibility and supporting disabled learners
– Basic administrative and inventory management skills
