Job Summary

Are you an experienced policy and public affairs professional looking to shape the future of the visual arts? DACS (Design & Artists Copyright Society) is seeking a Policy and Public Affairs Manager to lead our influencing, advocacy and public affairs work at a critical time for artists’ rights.

Job Description

This is a strategic role with real impact. You will develop and deliver DACS’ policy and public affairs strategy, working across government, parliament, regulators and the creative industries to protect and strengthen artists’ rights and royalties. A core focus of the role is AI, copyright and the visual arts, ensuring creators are recognised, protected and paid in a rapidly changing landscape.

You will build trusted relationships with policymakers, parliamentarians and sector partners, lead DACS’ consultation responses and inquiry submissions, and coordinate effective campaigning activity. Working closely with communications, legal and senior colleagues, you will help ensure DACS is seen as a credible, influential voice for visual artists in the UK and internationally.
