Place Director

Principle Purpose: To lead Creative Lives’ place-based work across the UK and Ireland. This involves developing new place projects, and securing funding (in partnership with local authorities and other partners) to ensure that everyday creativity is recognised, supported and valued as being vital to community wellbeing. The role will strengthen local cultural infrastructure and improve the environment in which everyday creativity can flourish, while also generating income to ensure the sustainability of Creative Lives. The post-holder will also be Creative Lives’ designated lead officer in Scotland, responsible for maintaining relationships with Government, funders, policymakers, partners and other key stakeholders in Scotland, including Creative Scotland.
