Performing Arts Cover Teachers

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Teachers to support both PQA Rugby and PQA Daventry when our regular teaching team are unavailable.

The role involves stepping in to deliver/support sessions across our Musical Theatre, Comedy & Drama, Film & TV and Poppets modules, ensuring students continue to receive a fun, engaging and high-quality PQA experience.

We’d ideally love cover teachers who are comfortable covering across all areas, but we completely understand that some teachers may have a particular strength or preference and would prefer to cover one or two modules. We’re happy to discuss this when allocating cover.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children/young people.

Is confident, enthusiastic and creative.

Can adapt quickly to different groups and activities.

Is reliable and happy to step in at short notice where possible.

Has a passion for performing arts and helping young people develop confidence.

Can follow PQA lesson plans/projects and maintain a positive, professional environment.

Holds or is willing to complete the relevant safeguarding/DBS requirements.

Cover opportunities may be available across PQA Rugby and PQA Daventry, depending on requirements and availability.

Hours vary
Rugby has a morning and afternoon academy ranging from 9am-5pm. Daventry has an AM academy only and is 9-1pm. Pay ranges from £20-£25 ph depending on experience.
