Panto Company Support (short-term role)

Norwich Theatre is looking for an organised, calm, and people-focused person to join us for this year’s in-house pantomime.

We’re seeking someone to act as a Company Support during rehearsals and performances. This person will be a friendly anchor in the whirlwind of panto season who helps keep our company happy, supported, and running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a short-term, flexible role for an experienced Company Manager, DSM, or Production Coordinator who enjoys working directly with creative teams and performers in a busy producing environment.

Dates: Early-Nov to 4 Jan (approx. 6-9 weeks)
Hours: Flexible, estimated 3-4 days per week depending on availability. This is a supplementary role to support the team, so the right person need not be available full-time but does need to be able to work some evenings and weekends including through Christmas and New Year to a mutually agreed rota
Location: Norwich
Fee: Freelance fee dependent on experience

You’ll help with:

• Supporting the Producing team during rehearsals
• Being a friendly first point of contact for the company and creative team
• Helping to coordinate schedules, calls, and logistics
• Providing pastoral and practical support for the performing company
• Lending a hand wherever needed, from organising a company event to making sure everyone’s looked after

You are:

• Experienced in company or stage management, or in a theatre producing role
• A great communicator who thrives on teamwork and problem-solving
• Warm, organised, and able to stay calm in a busy rehearsal room
• Available in Norwich from November
