Job Summary

The Operations Manager will provide high-quality support to the CEO and senior team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the charity, and enabling the leadership to focus on strategic priorities.

Job Description

3 – 3.5 day per week
Circa £30k Pro Rata

The post-holder will be a critical point of contact for our international advocates, trustees, and partners, representing the organisation with professionalism and care. They will play a central role in the next phase of G4CI’s development, including the delivery of international campaigns and
advocacy events, helping the charity to grow its impact and strengthen its global advocacy for athlete welfare and human rights in gymnastics. Key projects the post-holder will be involved in are the administration and development of the G4CI Oral History Archive and related Engagement
events.

Job Requirements

Essential requirements include strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise multiple tasks, and confidence in diary and inbox management. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication, discretion in handling sensitive information, and strong digital literacy (Google Workspace, MS Office, online meeting platforms). They should work independently, take initiative, and commit to trauma-informed, survivor-centred, and inclusive practices. Desirable qualities include experience in the charity, voluntary, or arts sectors; knowledge of safeguarding, GDPR, athlete welfare, or human rights; and skills in supporting Boards or governance. Diplomacy with a wide range of stakeholders, plus IT/design skills (Photoshop, Canva, Squarespace, CMS), are advantageous. Applicants should be adaptable, collaborative in small teams, and motivated to meet tight deadlines.
