Job Summary
Job Description
Seeking female/marginalised gender artists working in experimental contemporary live art performance who incorporate sound into their work, for one off collab/gig.
Absurdist lobsters/prawns/jellyfish that are intentional and responsive, similar to Malin Bengsstons Mussel or Edwina Ashtons Peaceful Serious Creatures., or some oddity inspired by a Guillermo del Toro film. The work can be an existing piece – open to new – especially abstract/avant-garde surrealism.
This will be for a DIY grassroots exhibition and listening event on an evening, with an afternoon rehearsal.
Payment is for the day and set using artists union rates and travel reimbursement is offered but capped
Job Requirements
Looking for aesthetic, concept, tech simplicity and experience – though experience not necessary if experimental and brave! Freelance, must be self employed and eligible to work in UK. International artists welcomed, but must arrange their own travel. Travel reimbursed but capped to reasonable rate.
