Join a dynamic, industry-connected team where you’ll work closely with young performers to develop their skills, prepare them for professional opportunities, and support their long-term growth in a fast-paced yet nurturing environment.
Teaching is delivered remotely via online sessions, scheduled on Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 9pm. Each evening offers the opportunity to lead four one-hour dialect classes. The hourly rate is £50-£60, depending on experience. The academic year is divided into three 10-week terms.
Job Requirements
Requirements of the role
- Teach a variety of accents of English to acting students aged 9-18
- Competently demonstrate a wide range of accents including the major accents: General American, Southern American, Standard English, Yorkshire, Scottish accents, Irish accents and Popular London.
- Provide feedback to students and staff
- Observe self tapes for assessments
- Source and research audio material to share with the voice team

A passion for working with emerging talent and a commitment to developing young actors from newcomer to advanced

Confident in delivering sessions online with excellent communication and tech skills

Hold a DBS certificate
Knowledge and Experience Required
- MA in Voice Studies or Voice Pedagogy
- Experience of teaching voice and dialect to young actors in drama schools or conservatoires
- In depth knowledge of IPA – International Phonetics Alphabet
- Knowledge of the KIT list words and the ‘How to Do Accents’ methodology and accent breakdown sheets
