Non-Executive Board Member

Como No is seeking a new Non-Executive Board Member to join its Board as the company enters an exciting new chapter of growth and development.

Founded in the 1980s, Como No has been England’s leading promoter of Latin American music, presenting landmark concerts and festivals that have defined the genre in the UK. From Celia Cruz to Natalia Lafourcade, and Buena Vista Social Club to Seu Jorge, our work has celebrated the richness of Latin music and culture across venues from The Jazz Caf to the Royal Albert Hall. Our annual La L nea – The London Latin Music Festival continues to champion creativity, collaboration, and community.

Now a National Portfolio Organisation supported by Arts Council England, Como No operates as a not-for-profit company, strengthening its mission to promote inclusivity, creativity and connection across cultures.

We’re looking for a Board Member who shares our passion for the arts and can bring expertise in finance, HR, governance, fundraising, sustainability, risk management or the creative industries. You’ll offer strategic insight, independent judgement and enthusiasm for our purpose.

As a Non-Executive Board Member, you’ll help guide the organisation’s long-term strategy, provide oversight and governance, review reports and policies, and act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team. You’ll champion Como No’s work, support partnerships and fundraising efforts, and help ensure the company remains vibrant, resilient and inclusive.

We particularly welcome applications from individuals of Latin American heritage and those from diverse backgrounds. This is a voluntary role with reasonable expenses covered.
