Job Summary

Nonclassical is looking for an experienced, dedicated Marketing Manager. This is a part-time role with an expected commitment of 16 hours per week.

Job Description

Working closely with nonclassical’s Executive Director, Events and Artist
Development, Label, and Finance Managers, the Marketing Manager will develop the marketing strategy across all of nonclassical’s activity, including events, releases, artist development and fundraising activity.
We are ideally looking for an experienced marketing professional with an interest in contemporary music, who will help develop nonclassical’s mission to:

promote innovative contemporary music to new audiences in inventive ways, building profile and audience share
boost digital, recorded and live platforms for diverse new artists

The Marketing Manager will enhance nonclassical’s brand and grow its community through digital strategy, content creation, partnerships and selective paid media. We are seeking candidates with passion for leading effective marketing campaigns, and with excellent communication and organisational skills. Taking initiative, working resourcefully with sometimes tight budgets, and the ability to work flexibly, are essential within this small, dynamic charity with a big vision.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years in marketing/communications.

  • Experience creating visual/video assets for digital channels.

  • Skilled in CRM-led, insight-driven digital marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading, and communication skills.

  • Highly organised; able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Experience managing social media and devising multi-platform digital strategies.

  • Analytical with data-analysis skills; strong commercial awareness.

  • Financially literate; experience managing budgets.

  • Proficient in office software; skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere.

  • Self-starter, achievement-driven, committed to objectives.

  • Committed to diversifying artists, programmes, and audiences.

  • Flexible to work evenings/weekends as required.

  • Desirable: knowledge of contemporary/classical/experimental music, events/label marketing, digital fundraising, industry links, tech trends, delegation/line management
