Job Summary
Job Description
Concrete Youth is looking for a warm, organised and values-led Marketing & Bookings Manager to join our small, friendly and ambitious team.
This is a lovely opportunity to join Concrete Youth at an exciting time for the charity, supporting our marketing, press, PR and education bookings as we continue to grow our sensory theatre and education work.
The role will support the growth, visibility and reach of Concrete Youth’s touring and education departments. It will focus on clear communication, thoughtful relationship-building and helping more schools, care settings, venues, cultural organisations and communities understand, access and book Concrete Youth’s work.
A core priority will be supporting the education booking journey, from first enquiry through to confirmed booking. The role will also support agreed marketing and press activity for touring productions, education programmes and key organisational moments.
This is not a hard sales role. It is about communicating the value of Concrete Youth’s work with warmth, professionalism and care.
Concrete Youth is a supportive, ambitious and caring place to work. We are a four-day working week employer, Certified Living Wage Employer and PiPA Charter Partner.
The role is 15 hours per week / 0.5 FTE, ideally worked across three days per week. The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate. We are committed to shaping the role realistically around the contracted hours.
The successful candidate will be subject to a three-month probation period, satisfactory references and DBS clearance.
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone who can bring experience in arts marketing, cultural communications, audience development, education marketing, bookings, producing, press, PR, community engagement or a related role.
You will be a warm, organised and confident communicator, with excellent writing skills and the ability to speak professionally with schools, care settings, venues, partners, press contacts and potential bookers.
You will be able to manage enquiries, follow-ups, campaign deadlines and simple systems, and will be comfortable using social media, email marketing, spreadsheets, databases, Google Workspace or similar tools.
You will have a genuine commitment to inclusion, access and the cultural rights of disabled people.
Experience of sensory theatre, inclusive arts, disability arts or work with people labelled with profound and multiple learning disabilities would be useful, but we also welcome candidates with genuine curiosity and interest in this work.
