ProLighting are offering a unique opportunity to support our Maintenance and Repair Team in the role of ‘Lighting Workshop Technician’ in our in-house workshop.
We are a London-based leading photographic and moving image equipment rental company supplying professional photographic and production equipment to high-end brands, production houses, photographers and cinematographers across London the UK and Europe.
We are looking for a pro-active and conscientious individual with solid technical knowledge and a clear talent for problem solving.
This full-time role will be based at our main lighting warehouse and studio complex in London E1.
Job Requirements
Essential Skills:
– Excellent technical skills and attention to detail
– Proven previous experience in a similar role
– Ability to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team
Desired Skills:
– Full UK driving licence
– PAT testing training
– Basic knowledge of Photography and Photographic equipment.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
– Diagnosis, repair and testing of electrical and non-electrical lighting equipment
– Regular maintenance and servicing of equipment according to manufacturer specs
– Purchasing and keeping stock of spare parts and consumables
– Schedule and carry out PAT testing of electrical equipment (training provided)
