Job Description

The lights might be dimmed at the Oldham Coliseum for now, but Christmas isn’t cancelled – it’s bursting out of the theatre walls and spilling right into the heart of the town. This December, Oldham Coliseum are teaming up with the legendary Jim Cartwright and Not Too Tame’s Jimmy Fairhurst to unwrap a brand-new festive cracker: A Christmas Fair.

Oldham Coliseum is looking for a Sound Number 1 to mix and operate their upcoming site-specific production at Chadderton Town Hall, in addition to leading the production from a sound production point of view to realise the creative vision of our Sound Designer & Team.

Install – 8th & 9th Dec

Technical Rehersals – 15th & 16th Dec

Preview Performance – 17th Dec

Press Performance 18th Dec

Performances – 20th Dec, 22nd Dec, 23rd Dec, 24th Dec, 27th Dec, 29th Dec, 30th Dec, 31st Dec, 2nd Jan, 3rd Jan (TBC)

Get Out – 5th Jan

Rate: £600 per week

Job Requirements

Confident in operating Lighting Cues during live performance in a non-traditional space.

Confidence in the use of an EOS Lighting Desk

Confident in setup & fault finding Lighting Equipment in a non-traditional space

Comfortable working at height
