Light Night Leeds – Event Volunteer

We are looking for Visitor Support volunteers who:

• Are friendly, engaging and confident communicating with the public

• Are interested in arts, culture or events

• Are enthusiastic and flexible

• Enjoy being part of a team and working with others

• Are reliable and responsible

• Are over 18

As a Visitor Support volunteer, you will be the face of Light Night, welcoming our visitors, supporting them to engage with artworks and providing information and directions to other artworks across the city. Based in a specific zone that covers multiple artworks, you’ll experience a variety of brilliant installations and performances. Your energy and enthusiasm will create an extraordinary experience for visitors of all ages.

Light Night Leeds runs over two evenings – Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th October 2025. You’ll need to be available for at least one shift of up to 6 hours during this time, plus one training session prior to the event, either in person or online.

As part of our volunteering team, you will:

• Get up-close experience of Light Night artworks

• Have a memorable night with like-minded people

• Be part of something huge – Light Night Leeds attracts over 200,000 visitors

• Go behind the scenes with first-hand experience of a large-scale event

• Support your local community and enjoy Light Night’s amazing atmosphere
