Job Description
About the role:
To photograph and make images of the ancient Egyptian and Sudanese collection publicly accessible, in support of the Museum’s Masterplan, the Museum Operating Plan, and all relevant Museum strategies. To improve accessibility of the collection via the Museum’s digital online platforms. To produce digital photographic images and help document objects, to process images by matching them to MI+ collections management database records, and to upload them to the Museum’s image asset management system.
Job Requirements
About you:
- A levels (or equivalent)
- Experience of collections and digital asset management databases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop software
- Experience with photographic documentation
- Experience of working in a museum environment, including object handling
