Job Summary

ROYO are looking for experienced Production staff for the 2026 Curve and London Coliseum Run of Kinky Boots the Musical.

Job Description

This joy-filled sensation, based on a true story and hit movie, features Tony and Grammy winning music and lyrics by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, a hilarious and life-affirming book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein and is directed by Nikolai Foster (Grease and The Wizard of Oz).

PRODUCTION DATES:

Rehearsal Dates: 9th February – 22nd February 2026 (Curve, Leicester – Monday to Saturday)

Get-In & Technical Rehearsals at Curve, Leicester: W/C 23rd February 2026

Performance Dates at Curve, Leicester: W/C 2nd March 2026

Get-In & Technical Rehearsals at London Coliseum: W/C 9th March 2026

Performance Dates at London Coliseum: 17th March – 11th July 2026

Job Requirements

  • Maintaining the Production as instructed and dictated by the artistic requirements and direction of the Production
  • Taking responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of all wigs, hairpieces, and equipment required, including checks prior to each performance
  • Attending all rehearsals, show calls, maintenance calls as required, including emergency calls in the event of equipment failure or other incident.
  • Having an awareness of understudy and swing performances ahead of each show and making necessary adjustments, if any.
  • Compiling and keeping updated cue sheets and other relevant show paperwork including the show running bible, both soft and hard copy, to such a level as to ensure an accurate reference to allow the Production to be remounted at a later date including the Wardrobe show running bible.
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably required in the course of your duties or as instructed by the Costume Supervisor, Company Manager, Production Manager, General Managers.
