Head of Wardrobe

Wild Yak is seeking a Head of Wardrobe for the production of Seagull: True Story, transferring from La Mama in New York City,directed by Alexander Molochnikov at the Marylebone Theatre.

The successful candidate will manage the costumes throughout the production. They will be responsible for organising costumes, costume maintenance and cleanliness, as well as any necessary replacements or sourcing. Some costume supervision may be required during rehearsals for recasting that has happened since the previous run. This role will also require working closely with the stage management team of ASMs who will support with wardrobe duties as required during performances, as well as working with the Production Manager and General Manager to maintain a manageable budget for the costumes within the overall production budget.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Head of Wardrobe, and will also have experience with sourcing costumes.

The successful candidate will be present during rehearsals.

Dates

Rehearsal start: from 18th August 2025

Get in: from 1st September 2025

Technical rehearsals: from 3rd September 2025

Performances: from 5th September 2025

Press Night: Tuesday 9th September 2025

Final performance: Saturday 11th October 2025

The performance schedule will be 8 performances per week at 7.30pm, with matinees on Thursdays and Saturdays at 2.30pm. The nominated rest day during the run will be Mondays.

Fee

The weekly fee for the role will be a base rate of £725.
