Job Summary
Job Description
– Oversee the safe operation, maintenance and delivery of all video systems within a technically complex production environment, including onstage roaming and Front of House live camera elements.
– Assist in the set up, organisation and management of the Video Department.
– Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure high-quality video support and seamless integration across the production.
– Proactively identify and resolve issues with camera feeds, playback systems, signal routing, and on-stage video elements.
Key Dates:
Tech begins: 28th July 2026
First Performance: 31st July 2026
Final Performance: 6th September 2026
Job Requirements
– Proven and extensive experience leading on the delivery of full video requirements for technically complex live performances.
-This includes overseeing live camera systems and real-time video execution.
– Proven experience leading, supervising and coordinating technical teams within fast-paced production environments.
– Practical experience integrating video systems with live special effects such as pyrotechnics, atmospheric effects, automation, and illusion-based staging.
– Demonstrable experience of using Qlab or equivalent media server/video control systems in live production environments.
– Ability to problem-solve and maintain calm and effective leadership in a fast paced performance setting.
