Guide, Oxford Illusion Museum

Location: 133 High Street, Oxford

Hours: 18, 12, and 8 hour per week contracts available, with possibility of overtime

Salary: £23,000 pro rata, equivalent to £13.16/hour

Reporting to: Manager, Charlotte Waring

Purpose of role

You will make visitors feel welcome, help them take great photos, enjoy the exhibits and serve drinks in the museum cafe.

Key responsibilities

  • You will work with the team to welcome in and assist visitors with the museum’s displays, including demonstrations, assisting in taking photographs, and running activities within the museum.
  • Ticketing and ushering visitors around the museum.
  • Serving customers in the museum cafe and shop.
  • Any other duties reasonably required

Experience within a museum or gallery setting is not required. We are excited to accept candidates who share our enthusiasm and team spirit. Training will be provided where required.
