The Gillian Lynne Theatre is thrilled to be hosting the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of My Neighbour Totoro. We’re looking for proactive and enthusiastic Guest Experience Supervisors to motivate our team of Guest Experience Hosts to create extraordinary experiences for our audiences while ensuring their safety and security at all times.
Our Guest Experience Supervisors inspire and lead our team to maximise sales opportunities, maintain excellent standards of presentation and cultivate a safe and secure environment. They are the first point of call to resolve any issues our guests may experience.
Salary: £14.91 per hour (30 hours, 6 days per week). This is a Performance Run Contract.
Deadline for applications: Monday 26th May 2025
We are hiring people that can work all 8 shows a week. The performance schedule is as follows:
Tuesday – Saturday evenings (7pm)
Thursday, Saturday and Sunday matinees (2pm).

Job Requirements
Here’s what you’ll be doing…
- Championing and maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness and presentation across our theatre
- Engaging and motivating our team of Guest Experience hosts – supporting them with any issues and ensuring their duties are carried out effectively
- Completing regular safety checks and ensuring compliance with security and licensing objectives
- Proactively resolving issues, putting our guests’ experience first
- Maintaining a clear understanding of emergency procedures, responding promptly and professionally to any incidents
- Working alongside our Bar and Retail Supervisors to maximise sales opportunities, covering their responsibilities where required
