Overall job purpose
Key relationships
This role works with the Communications and Fundraising, and Finance and Regional teams. Key external relationships are with grant funders and supporters of CCT.
Key duties and responsibilities
Prospect research and management
Under the direction of the Fundraising Manager (Capital Campaigns and Major Gifts) and working alongside the Data and Prospect Research Officer, the post holder will:
- Identify and research prospective funders to increase the potential of grant fundraising applications.
- Manage grant funder and key individuals’ information on the CRM to provide accurate and timely grant reports.
Bid writing and fundraising strategies
The post holder will:
- Write and submit excellent quality grant applications that fund project-based and core work. meet funder requirements and contribute to the 2025-30 fundraising strategy.
- Support the development of project cases for support.
- Support the development and delivery of project fundraising strategies.
Grant funder relationships
The post holder will:
- Maintain excellent relationships with grant funders who are currently supporting CCT, preparing progress reports.
- Develop new relationships with prospective funders, enthusing them in all facets of CCT’s work.
- Support the organisation of and deliver grant funder cultivation events.
- Write and publish articles for CCT’s member and supporter e-newsletters, Pinnacle and the website
Financial management and reporting
In collaboration with the Finance team, Regional teams and other teams the post holder will lead or assist on:
- Monthly reporting on pledges.
- Monthly financial reporting including cash flow.
- Grant activity pipeline and submission information.
