Governance & Administration Trustee (Volunteer)

Grooveschool is looking for a committed and dependable Governance & Administration Trustee to join our board during an important stage of growth and development.

This voluntary trustee role will support the charity’s governance, organisational structure and board effectiveness as we continue expanding our creative education and mentoring programmes.

This is a governance-focused trustee role rather than a day-to-day operational staff position.

We are particularly interested in individuals who are organised, collaborative and passionate about supporting young people through creativity, music and community-based work.

The successful candidate will work alongside fellow trustees and the founder to help strengthen communication, accountability, governance processes and strategic planning across the charity, while maintaining independent oversight and always acting in the best interests of the organisation and its beneficiaries.

Previous trustee experience is welcomed but not essential. We are open to applications from people with backgrounds in governance, administration, charity management, education, project coordination, community arts, youth work or organisational support.

We welcome first-time trustees and are happy to support the right candidate in developing governance experience within a supportive and collaborative board environment.
