Job Summary

A hands-on position combining gallery operations, administration, marketing support, and active sales. This role requires on-site, in-person work at the gallery in Marylebone, London. Remote or hybrid working is not available for this position.

Job Description

This role combines gallery administration, day-to-day operations, and active sales. The successful candidate will be highly independent and reliable, capable of managing the gallery independently on a day-to-day basis, while working closely with the Director and contributing towards clear sales targets with a commission-based incentive structure. Previous sales experience with measurable results or clear contribution to sales performance is highly desirable.

Job Requirements

  • Strong interest in contemporary art and the art market
  • Prior gallery/art fair/auction house experience preferred
  • Sales experience with measurable results highly desirable
  • Highly organised, reliable; able to run day-to-day operations independently
  • Confident, professional, client-facing communicator (collectors/advisors/VIPs)
  • Sales-driven; motivated by targets and commission
  • Comfortable with admin systems, databases, and record-keeping
  • CRM experience a plus (e.g., Artlogic, Mailchimp, Artsy)
  • Fluent English required; additional languages a plus
