Gallery intern

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated intern to help in our busy central London gallery. Tasks include but would not be limited to:

Providing administrative and logistical support across all departments

Assisting with research for exhibitions, artists and sales projects

Supporting events, private views and exhibition openings

Providing comprehensive front of house support ensuring a welcoming experience for visitors

Assisting with maintaining an immaculate presentation of the gallery

Editing and resizing new images using Adobe Photoshop, supporting and maintaining digital archive

Creating links and captions for image requests

Candidate requirements:

A BA or MA in contemporary art, history of art or a related field

A strong interest in the commercial gallery sector

Excellent organizational and communication skills

High attention to detail and proficiency with: Adobe photoshop,

Terms:

Tuesday – Saturday full time work 10:00 – 6:00
Fixed term internship, duration to be discussed

Remunerated at London living wage 13.85/hour.
