Job Description
Working closely with the Museum team, Oxford City Council, and the Museum Development Trust, you’ll establish a new framework for individual giving, cultivate donor relationships, and drive the museum’s first-year target of £40,000. You will also shape long-term fundraising foundations and help enhance the museum’s future capacity.
Job Requirements
What we’re looking for:

Proven success generating philanthropic income for cultural or heritage organisations

Strong experience delivering fundraising strategies in small cultural settings

Understanding of donor motivations, including community philanthropy

Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder-engagement skills

Ability to establish new individual giving schemes and work collaboratively across teams

Knowledge of the museum sector (essential); knowledge of Oxford’s philanthropic landscape is a plus
