Free Creative Producer Training Programme

In partnership with Newcastle City Council, Curated Place is offering 12 free places on their Creative Producer Training programme, joining a network operating in over 18 countries worldwide.

Newcastle City Council is launching a bold and ambitious 10-year cultural events programme that will establish the city as one of the UK’s premier cultural destinations.

Anchored by a series of flagship events each year, which will include: NOVUM Summer Festival, a reinvigorated Christmas and New Year offer, and a brand new Winter Festival, the programme will also support a vibrant calendar of city-wide events throughout the year.

The events programme will not only attract visitors and elevate Newcastle’s national and international profile but also create meaningful opportunities for local skills development, community participation, and cultural co-creation, celebrating the city’s identity through a rich blend of homegrown and global talent.

The Creative Producer Programme is a free 10-module professional development programme delivered by Curated Place in partnership with Newcastle City Council and funded by Arts Council England and North East Combined Authority.

Designed specifically for local creative and community-based producers practicing in Newcastle and the North East, the programme supports individuals to develop the practical skills, tools, and networks needed to deliver ambitious creative projects rooted in place.
