Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop is seeking a meticulous and highly organised Finance and Company Administrator.
Job Title: Finance and Company Administrator
Deadline: 8 June 2026, 5pm.
Salary: £26042 – 27042 Pro rata (dependent on skills and experience).
Term: Permanent.
Days: 3 days a week (21 hours).
The Finance and Company Administrator has responsibility for processing financial transactions, maintaining financial records and financial reporting. Key to the role is ensuring effective financial processes that support the team and contribute to the success of the organisation by providing a strong basis for all financial operations. The post is important to the efficient functioning of the organisation, maintaining the goodwill of artists, suppliers and freelancers by paying promptly, properly managing fundraised income and supporting the attainment of other income generation. The Finance and Company Administrator also provides support to the Director and the organisation in respect to scheduling, board management and statutory reporting.
Flexible Working Considerations: We would consider Job Share applications but please contact us in advance so we have time to consider the proposed structure for covering the work. A proposal for shorter hours may be considered depending on the approach suggested by the applicant. There may be a possibility for spreading the hours over more than three days, by working shorter days on some of the days.

Essential competencies
Demonstrated Bookkeeping skills and experience.
Demonstrated experience of using Xero accountancy software to its full capacity .
Understanding of VAT.
Professional and meticulous approach to reporting and accountability.
Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to co-ordinate a wide range of tasks,
take initiative and work independently.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with people inside and outside
the organisation.
