Facilities Team Member

Location: Gateshead, The Glasshouse International Centre for Music
Working hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: National Minimum Wage

We’re looking for a friendly, proactive facilities team member to help keep The Glasshouse running smoothly. You’ll be part of the team that sets up the building for events, supports colleagues across departments, and gives our audiences a warm welcome from the moment they arrive.

You’ll work independently or in small teams, help with room set-ups, provide on-call first aid, support emergency procedures, and play a key role in making sure every show or event feels safe, smooth and well looked after.

This role suits someone who’s organised, flexible, good at problem-solving and happy to get stuck in. Shifts include evenings and weekends, with rotas shared in advance and opportunities to pick up extra shifts.
