About IKLECTIK
IKLECTIK Art Lab is a platform for experimental art, sound, music, and performance, rooted in counterculture, care-aware practice, and intersectional values. Since 2014, IKLECTIK has been bringing together artists, audiences, and communities to challenge norms, nurture resilience, and reimagine futures.
Based at Peckham Levels, our venue hosts a bold curatorial programme of music and performance. Alongside this, we run a programme of private hires and external events that are essential to sustaining the organisation and enabling its artistic independence.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organised Event Producer & Coordinator to manage, deliver, and grow IKLECTIK’s private hire and external events offer. This role involves handling all aspects of private hire activity, from enquiry and client liaison through to event delivery, while also actively seeking new opportunities and partnerships to expand IKLECTIK’s sustainability model.
The post is ideal for someone who combines excellent production and people-facing skills with a proactive and creative mindset.
Part-time / Flexible working (3 days/week) | Hybrid + on-site performance engagement
Reports to: IKLECTIK Board or Advisory Group
Venue Capacity: Up to 450 people (music & performance program emphasis)
Pro-rata: 25K for FTE / 24 hours a week, monthly £1250 approx on a Freelance employment

Person Specification
Essential

Proven experience in event production, coordination, or venue hire management.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.

Ability to manage multiple bookings and tight timelines effectively.

Knowledge of live event logistics, including health & safety and licensing requirements.

Flexible availability for evening and weekend work when required.
Desirable

Experience working in multi-use venues, cultural hubs, or independent arts spaces.

Familiarity with the independent or experimental arts and music sectors.

Established contacts within events, hospitality, or creative industries.

Skills in financial reporting and budget management.
