Job Summary

As one of three Education Managers within the Education & Community team, you will lead on the administration and delivery of The Old Vic’s flagship school’s employability programme, Take the Lead.

Job Description

The Education Manager will be responsible for: To project manage, develop and oversee Take the Lead activity, ensuring that it is meeting objectives, reviewing this regularly and ensuring it is evaluated thoroughly.

Job Requirements

Essential Experience of devising and delivering high quality participatory arts projects for schools
Experience of working on Creative Careers projects within the arts
Experience of working with young people from diverse backgrounds and/or with additional needs Experience of managing artists and facilitators
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Budgetary management experience
A demonstrable understanding of and interest in promoting equity, diversity and inclusion
Robust understanding of best practice and new developments within a theatre educational and youth employment context
Experience of evaluation design, analysis and reporting and experience of writing copy for content and marketing materials
Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with a range of stakeholders
Ability to work with accuracy and speed in an environment with changing demands
The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check certificate
