Driver/Loader (Crew Support) – Touring Production

We’re seeking a skilled and dependable Driver/Loader to join the touring team for Eireann, the latest production from A Taste of Ireland. This is a key support role for someone who’s as comfortable behind the wheel as they are working alongside the crew during load-ins and show prep.

You’ll be responsible for driving the truck carrying all sets, props, and production equipment between venues. Once on-site, you’ll work closely with the technical team to unload, set up, and pack down the show efficiently and safely. You’ll also be on hand to assist with general crew tasks, from equipment handling to basic fixes and venue logistics.

This role suits someone with strong practical skills, a great attitude, and a solid understanding of touring work. Carpentry or general trade experience is highly valued, and the ability to think on your feet when things don’t go to plan is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the truck between tour stops, ensuring safe and timely transport

• Load and unload all show equipment, including sets and props

• Assist with venue bump-ins and pack-outs

• Support the technical crew during show setup and breakdown

• Perform basic on-the-road fixes (e.g. minor carpentry or hardware repairs)

• Maintain vehicle condition and report issues as needed

• Contribute to a smooth, respectful and safety-focused team environment

Accommodation, travel, and per diems provided. Fixed-term contract commencing early August.
