WYPW is seeking its next Director to take the organisation forward. With Arts Council capital funding for new equipment, a successful National Lottery Heritage Fund grant for organisational and expansion planning and a brilliant staff team and programme, this is an exciting time to join WYPW.

Th post holder will:

Provide strategic leadership and operational management of WYPW. To lead WYPW to achieve its vision and mission, through the active embodiment of its values and to champion the visual arts area of printmaking. Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all and leading on national stakeholder and exhibition partnerships. The post holder will lead projects around capital funding and project funding to help WYPW achieve its ambition to become a more widely recognized centre of excellence in printmaking.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience (E)

Post-degree or equivalent relevant experience (D)

Art administration or equivalent relevant experience (D)

Experience

Two years minimum management experience of leading a team within the arts, culture, heritage or charity sector (E)

Working with Board, staff and stakeholders to develop strategic vision and plans to achieve ambitions (E)

Income generation, including sourcing new and innovative fundraising opportunities. Writing funding applications for grants, charity fundraising events, and monitoring and reporting (E)

Working in, or leading an NPO organisation and required reporting (D)

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a flexible attitude to duties (E)

Knowledge of ACE NPO funding requirements, for example KPIs, monitoring and evaluation reporting (E)

Knowledge of broader funding streams (E)

Ability to produce H&S documentation (E)

Project management (D)
