Development Officer (Communities)
Fixed Term contract until 31 March 2027 with the possibility of an extension until March 2028.

Mansfield District Council is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Development Officer with a specialism in community engagement to support its ambitions for Mansfield Museum and Palace Theatre as work is developed in our key communities. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and developing audiences with the Cultural Services Team as part of our National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) programme, funded by Arts Council England.

This post would suit someone with an arts practitioner or arts project management background who can deliver on arts co-production with communities and building participation in arts, libraries, museums or theatres.

As Development Officer, working closely with colleagues in the Development, Learning and Museum teams, you will develop and deliver on community engagement initiatives and projects, ensuring inclusivity and access for all. You will use data intelligence and insights to inform targeted strategies and develop engagement.
